hi guys, any idea`s .
blow my 1.4 16v so fitted 1.4 8v (free). 2months down the line head went so changed for astra with 44k on .
Car starts fine and runs fine but when you let off the EML comes on and it stalls at junctions. These are the things i`ve changed-
Idle air valve
throttle body
cold start temp sensor
injection rail/fuel regulator
MAP sensor
MAF sensor
and last of all Lambda ?
PLEASE HELP THE TWATS STILL COMING ON !

cheers mate, but as i said the engine is 8v and the car is 16v so the code reader will not read as the dash socket is wired different on the later models.

Find the EML wires in the engine loom and flash the code off using a bulb.

so to the bulb test, do i take a wire fro the brown and blue to a bulb then to earth ?.

tryed that torsa, nothing happened . theres 2 brown/blue wires coming out the ecu both from the same plug,one in the middle front row and one on the right back row, niether lit up the bulb ?

come on guy`s some one must know the colour or were would i find a wiring diagram that had it on ,
