Hi peeps,

Looking at a set of 17" fox alloys on et35 offset and I am already lowered 40mm.

Tyres are 205 40 17 and want to know whether I will get any rubbing issues on my 96 sport?

The wheels have come off a slammed (i think mk 2) golf gti

Anyone got any pointers?

My 15's use to scrub bad on a 40mm ET35 off set. So that'll need some major arch work to be honest fella.

Shit

I have fitted one on the front and the clearance seems okay.

I have jumped up and down on car door sil and can't tell if it's touching?

Nobody will be in the back, just me and passenger really so might be okay?

Full lock ain't a problem, and will just have to have a look when I get them on.

This is a second car so won't be used all the time, just evenings and that so won't really bother me.

Any advice on rolling arches at the back?

Hang on, I was asking for advice from experience. I didn't say I wouldn't get them, just asking how much work is involved in rolling arches???

It's people like you who fuck up threads and start arguements is it not?

they will scrub and you cant really roll the arches on a corsa.

all you can do is remove some of the metal and arch bolts. but even then it will scrub like fuck.

i was on 16's 205/45 down 40mm and it scrubbed everywhere without arch bolts

even knocked off my arch a couple of times
