lol @ Fluke - You think its just 'luck' that they happen to be broadcasting it from their satellites? They are testing it. It will become released at somepoint once they come to an agreement but if they didn't want customers to see it, it would be very easy for them to stop transmitting it while the deal was being struck

It's always been transmitted, just as a data stream which the old software wouldn't add as a channel, the new one can and i'd also expect it to turn up officially in the near future.

My Sky box has been totally fucked to death since this crappy new EPG decided to turn up. It doesn't have reception on input 1, the EPG simply doesn't work now and the signal on input 2 is intermittent to say the least.
Were other upgrades installed at the same time as the EPG? I cannot be fucked to talk to the morons at Sky about it because I'll be dammed if I'm paying for a 08 phone call for them to tell me to turn the fucking box on and off again (which takes 4 mins to re-boot).

A new operating system, the epg is just the UI of that.
It's because sky boxes are built to be barely good enough, this must be stressing them more.
The intermittent signals will probably be something else though.

Sky fucked up my internet The box in the phone restricts me from 10mb to 2.5mb connection. So have to have it unplugged (which everyone said was fine, and has been) plug it in every sat night anyway just in case

Ive decided I dont like it...the most annoying thing is if you have moved down the programme list to see info on something a few lines down (or worse still a few pages down and then a few lines down)...you have to go all the way back upto the top to move to another genre or section.
Really gets annoying after a while.
