Okay it has to be reasonably priced (as in under £300 for springs/shocks all round).
Also it has to be suitable for the 2.0 engine up front.
Finally I like a very firm ride, but not crashy or harsh. So a little bit of firm travel is nice.
What would you recommend?
Cheers

Most spring/shock kits seem to be around the £250 mark so I thought it would be enough? Granted Spax and Koni tend to be a bit dearer.
Can you buy the spax kit with correct poundage front springs for the 2.0? Or do people just go with the standard spax kit?

Do people generally just use lowering kits on their big block Corsas, without getting the 2.0 springs?

Not buying them for a month or two unfortunately
Generally I would spend more, as I do on my other cars but this is only a Corsa

Sell it. Won't have to spend a penny then.

It'll do for a runaround, as it's quite a new car compared to my others and will be reasonably good on fuel even as a C20LET if driven sensibly. Not exactly fast or good handling coming from my Calibra but it'll at least have some creature comforts, ICE and rear seats making it ideal for daily driving.
For that reason I only need suspension to make it enjoyable for the odd country lane, not a £500 coilover kit

How do they compare to springs/shocks? A friend of mine on here (LETGSI16v) says they are much too harsh?
