i don't find ricky gervais funny in the slightest. jimmy carr is ace though, i love his condescending banter and the way he switches from intelligent humour to sick jokes.

Saw him last week at The Grove in Dunstable, he was as expected, quality. Really enjoyed it, some quality material used (used the never high five a Rabbi aswel lol) and took the complete and utter piss out of several people near the front. The way he lays into people I think actually makes the whole stand-up tbh.
Enjoyed it more the fact I got the ticket for free as my mates missus couldn't make it !

Funny times that she was late tbh. Ripped people to pieces, used material i'd never heard before (which I was worried of). Probably the best £20 i've ever spent.

saw Jimmy in Bath for the past two years, first year was really good, but the 2nd time was in my opinion below average for jimmy- the jokes were predictable and alot of them repeats from other shows he was on.
