Hey guys, i've just bought a GT agressor xc1 cause it was a really good deal and has good components although the frame doesnt really suit me.
Was wandering if anyone can tell me if all the bits will swap over onto the frame below,

Should mostly be fine.
Just may have a few issues with things like the bottom bracket been slightly different in size and the seat post etc.
What are you going to use it for as that frame will be quite a bit heavier

Everything will move accross you may have to buy a new seat post though and possibly but its unlikely a new bottom bracket, u may choose to cut ur steerer tube down also unless you want to be running about ten spacers

For jumping and a bit of downhill mainly Gavin, the frame is a bit to big i feel for jumping, the azonic am i thinking should suit a tall person quite well ?

Was gonna say, the azonic looks like a dirt jumper, 120 travel should be ok, might find it abit raked tho.
All should go over good tho

u may need to check the length of the steerer/suspension tube to make sure its long enough. if its too long you can use spaces on top of the head set or cut it down a little.

as gavin said, the seat post will be likely to be different. b.b shouldn't be different i wouldnt have thought.
and as mj mentioned, just check on the length of your forks steerer tube otherwise you'll be fooked lol
nice choice of frame by th way. love a bit of jumping myself

also, front mech may be diff........ sum bigger frames use slightly bigger diamater tubing than the smaller 17/18 versions

Another question,
Whats the hardest part of switching frames, cause what i can see most is allen keys ?

Changing the headset cups as they need to be bashed out and pressed back in.
Changing the cranks and BB as you'll need the correct tools to do so, and you need to be very careful threading it into the new frame as the BB is heavy, large diameter and uses fine threads to hold it in place.
Swapping the chain over too. Just get a new one with a new pin as there's no point trying to swap it over, though you'll need to break the one on your current frame to get the rear mech off. Don't bother un-doing the bolts that hold the jockey wheels onto the rear mech because they have a tendency to fall off if you don't araldite them back in place nicely.

If you do need to cut the steerer tube down you'll probably need to press in a new star fangled nut to go into it, depending on the design of your headset.

I would advise a new set of rims as well. Those XC rims wont stand up to the abuse of dirt jumping.
