whats the deal with mot on let corsa? do i need to weld a CAT in the exhaust system and send it through or what?
its all legit insured as 2.0 tubo ect.
just need mot as quick as possible beofre pvs

Yes you will need a cat as it was manufactured with a cat.

what age is the engine, if pre 92 you've nothing to worry about.

i though it was if that engine code, ie, c20let, was put in cars before 1992 it wasn't necessary to have a cat on? despite the year of the car the engine is now in?

Not too sure what you're getting at, but it goes on the year of the engine, not the shell.

just tell them its got a 91/92 engine in. if they want proof take it elsewhere

as soon as they see the letter (c) on the engine code they will know it has cat as standard., ever c20let came with a cat as standard from factory no matter what year car it was in.

^ true, but GM fitted cats before it was a legal requirement.

You need to prove that EITHER your car or engine was built before 1/1/1996

ohwell a local landrover specialist is doing it for me, failed today on wheel bearing, wipers poor clear and horn non op, fixed all them and getting reteset tomora
