Rub down, primer, respray.

hmm i have a mini..and theres some rust on my near side wing......is applying the primer easy? cos im willing to sand it down, and then prime it...but how can i go about it?

Applying primer is easy enough...
if u dont have much experience with spraying then i wud get sum1 else to do it...
It needs to b rubbed down to the matal otherwise it will spread under the paint and blister.

yeh il get d sprayin done by sum1 elz..
so.. i rub it down to the metal..and is sand paper alryt to use?
then when will i know when i do need to prime it?..and im guessin..iv gota rub the primer in..making it smooth?

i sanded the rust area down loads until i could see bare metal again. used some anti rust stuff then primered and painted. no problemo

you need to add filler too so that its smooth.
