Can't beat Ibiza, pace was a bit too much for me - getting up in the morning and having to get back on the booze was tough...
So glad I've done it though, brilliant expierence

Its meant to be alright for a normal holiday if you go to the other end of the island away from the clubbing resorts.

Heard this also, staying in San Antonio is a big no no if you want sleep

Personally I loved the place.. went for my brothers stag do in September last year and we just had 4 nights of crazy clubbing. It was "MDMAzing"

I think there was about 11/12 of us. We were there for the closing party of Garlands Eden, Cream Amnesia & Wonderland Eden. Definately the best holiday of my life

For all you saying Ibiza is expensive, its doesn't have to be!
We are staying in a hotel for £175 B&B for the week each.
If your drinking suring the day, then like Neo says get your drink from the supermarkets, its dirt cheap.
Even a Cafe Del Mar and Cafe Mambo, get your drink from the supermarket behind them and you can sit on the platforms and watch the sunset.
Drinks in the bars in the westend are dirt cheap. (2 bottles san miguel 4 euros, pint of voka redbull 5 euros. 2 shots, 2 san miguels and a sex on the beach for 5 euros in one place). We didn't got out till 12am-1am every night.
Eating out is dirt cheap!
The only thing that does eat up your money is club tickets and if you drink in the clubs.
Club Tickets: Shop around for these in the resort, there are numerous cafes/resturants that will sell you cheap tickets if you have dinner there.
Drinks in clubs: Get smashed before you go in, and then stick to water. Agreed water is expensive in there but you gotta drink, especially how hot it can get!
I've been 5 times now and am going again in July.
As for Magaluf, I went once and never again! Its was a sausage fest!
I agree. Doesn't have to be expensive unless you drink heavily in the clubs.

I have been 6 or 7 times but not in the last three years. Most holidays would involve a 3 day no sleep on the booze constantly stint..
I used to come home every year with a chest infection or a throat infection due to the excesses.

Depends what you want to do. IMO Ibiza is very much a clubbing place, it's the Mecca for DJ's & producers & people who generally love dance music. You can easily spend a grand in 2weeks, which is pretty much the norm for any holiday. I'm going out there to live in August for a few months as I have mates who are living out there now, can't wait myself.
DONT stay at Ibiza Rocks tho, the place is a joke. The service is wank, we didnt get our sheets changed for almost a week, we had to buy shit roll because they wasn't stocking us up. Will never stay there again. You want to look at getting a private apparment down near Cafe Mambo, Kanya Beach etc you'll end up paying alot cheaper then staying in any big hotels on the Island.
Another nice tip is if your going to the club & you wont be doing much drinking ask the bar for a glass of ice cubes & wait untill they melt, free water all night

It's for a certain type of person Ibiza, you can see that by just looking through this thread.

To be honest, I don't think I'd go there if I wanted a "shagging" holiday. But that's not why we went.

That wasn't the guy that was getting married over there on the Saturday was it? They were all dressed as the Incredibles on the Friday night in Eden and the groom was a green fairy in tutu and big wings his mates forgot to tell him though that the green paint they used on him was like tar and wouldn't come off... a bit rubbed off on me and I couldn't scrub it off for days!! somehow I think he got married still green
