been for two interviews today, the second of which i have been offered a job for in a call centre, pay is shit £6.20 an hour plus bonus to start, goes up to £7.70 per hour once settled in and making sales . start the 29th of july, which is a while away but least i have a safety net now
still waiting to hear from the first interview, told it would be friday, hopefully will get that job as thats the 1 i wanted, that is buisiness admin for a training company and is 16k a year but also trained up to level 3 nvqs in buisiness admin and really looked a good place to work. so every 1 please keep fingers crossed that i get that job, regardless i am over the moon that as of 29/06/09 i will be employed again and earning.

Well done!
I went to Sainsbury's distribution centre last week to register with thtem, next day had an indution. Called me today asking if i am available to strat tomorrow!
6.20 an hour to start with, then goes to 6.70 once meeting the goals...
after 12 weeks possible to get perm job, so think wage would be around £8 p/h.
thats Order picking btw, 8 hour shifts + 2 hour over time most of the days. 1.5 pay for overtime and double for bank holidays. will do for summer holidays!

In Sherburn?
My mate worked at that one for 2 days. They didn't give him his hours for the next day until about 6pm the previous day, he couldn't plan anything!
