i now there are loads of posts on here about these engines but i have looked but as i have no "search" function i havent really found anything.
now my problem, fitted the engine yesterday, wired it all up etc today went to turn they key and the engine turns over but i have no spark.
am i rite in thinking that the injection and all that stuff is controlled by the ignition coi?
if so its it more than likley going to be a simple fix to my problem i.e. nackerd coil or an earth somewhere??
any help much appreciated

what you mean no spark?
no spark from the plugs, no spark from the leads, no spark from te coil, no ignition feed to the coil.. multitude of things really, not to clued up with wiring so not 100%

fuel is getting up to the injectors but then nothing from there, will try the earths wich think it is but wanted other peoples opinions and experiances,

sorted this problem now but does anyone now what throttle cable i need to use on a mk4 astra?? or what do people use on corsas?

because you have to use 2 ecu's on the mk4 id left the cables in for the clocks an wired the new ones in aswell so it was just tracking round without going where its supposed to if you get me, and i hadnt got the remote live connected.

make sure all the Earths on the fuel rail are secured and earthed properly, add extra earths the the gearbox and engine, this is the problem i had
