Some old bat pulled out in front of my sister yesterday and the cars are a bit smashed up know.
She is a you drivers and so her excess is high (£500)and the insurance company says she has to pay it as she is making a claim againt the old bat. Question is will she get it back once the claim is sucessful.
Also she hadnt listed here clear headlamps as a mod and one was smashed what happens here.
Shitty old fieta came off worsa so hopfully that will be scrap

No she has to pay the 1st £500 of the claim the insurance will pay the rest.

dont claim the headlight on the insurance cos this will be classed as a body mod if the insurance man spots it, ur probably best to stick the original headlight back on.
ermm,, i think u will have to pay the £500 but once the claim has been processed u should get your money back (best to ring ur insurance company to check).
As u say if it was the old womans fault it should be her insurance company that should be contacted not ur sisters, as it wasnt her fault.
Its just so tricky to tell cos all insurance companys work these things differantly. best to ring em and have a proper converasion first before u start claiming.

someone run into the back of my girlfriends 206 on the m62. she had 400 excess and had to pay it. she got it back after the claim was sorted as the other persons insurance company paid up cos it wasnt her fault
