is it true scottish people cant pronounce these words? i know its abit of a will_doyle question but need to know?

my mate tried telling me it so i searched youtube but no luck

we pronounce burgular "burglur" no not that hard.
so..."purpul burglur alarm"

I also like to hear Geordies say "hula-hoops, typewriter, dracula" It comes out like "oola-oops, tie righta, dra ya la"
