Needing a little help. My x16xe seems to be using lot of oil since I put on my exhaust system. Decat straight thru and backbox. Gives off a puff of white smoke on start up but no leaks. Any ideas?

sure its white?
whites usually to do with mater, maybe condensation in exhaust or headgasket.
if blue then could be stem seals, which are fairly common on them. might just be nothing, if just removed the cat, then its free'er flowing, than before which is why its only know your noticing it?

White = water
Blue = oil
Black = fuel
CAT's can mask a certain amount of oil burning so if you have just removed your cat you might suddenly get some.

Ok cheers lads probly worrying about nothing then. The exhaust pushed aside what else might be using oil up?

valve stem oil seals are prone to going, dry up and crack, mines was puffing until i rebuilt my head and replaced them

when i got my powerflow system fitted there was white smoke for a couple days then stopped i just presumed was condensation in pipes as never done it since now the exhuast has worn in
