Right Lads,
What's the best way to flush the full coolant system on a X14XE?
There isn't a bottom hose on the radiator, they're a fair way up so there would still be shite in the bottom of the radiator if i whipped the hose off.
Is there a bleed screw somewhere underneath?
Also, what's the best way to flush the water galleries in the block? I want to do the full system, not just the rad.

bottom right of rad as your looking at the car on the engine side theres a plug think its 17 or 19 mm

Just to update this.
andyc1234: Thanks for your input, the plug is actually on the bottom left of the rad and has a sensor plugged into the top. It's not on the engine side but on the wing side.
I used a pair of mole grips as it not on tight.
I now have a nice 50/50 mix of Antifreeze and coolant.
It takes 4L in total.

thats good to no as iam doing mine this weekend. so i need 2L of antifreeze?

Yeah mate, i used 2L of Antifreeze and 2L of distilled water.
Distilled as in Boiled first
