is there a way to keep the D60 in remote shutter release mode? or to at least make it stay on longer than 15 mins?

does it have a bulb mode? i know on mine (canon) there is a bulb mode which lets you hold the shutter down for aslong as you want. never used it though

But a remote for it.
Put it in 'S' mode and dial until you see BULB, now you have control over exposure time via the remote.
You can now have 30min MAX shuter speed.

getting our wires crossed here fellas. i'm asking about keeping it in remote mode for more than 15 mins. i already have the remote so i can take a few snaps but after 15 mins it stops recieving the signal from the ir remote. you have to go back through the menu's and put it back in remote mode.

Right with you now. No way of changing that I'm afraid, tried for months with my D40. 
Would be handy for in car shots. I ended up taking some shots within 15mins even though I didn't want to.
