Right I have a MTB and I want to get one of those rolling road type things so you can use it indoors as an exercise bike.
Do they exist?
Anygood?
Price?
What are they actually called?

Turbo trainer.
Yes, they're ok. Get one that runs off the rim, and not the wheel, otherwise it's REALLY loud with the friction/vibration from the tyres.
That, or get a spare wheel for your MTB with road tyre on it

Looks pretty decent for the money, be careful though as some dont really cater for the width of MTB rims

We have one. No substitute for getting out there...
Only used my road bike on it once (to set up the pedals & shoes) cos its feels very un-natural.

if you've already got a bike why not go for a proper ride. Don't be a woman if a bit of rain is your excuse

You'd need to be very careful living in a flat. It will be worth investing in a 2nd rear wheel with a slick tyre on it.
Even the one which run off dads rim was loud!
