hello,
Well last Sunday finaly got round to fitting my lowering springs, Did the back ones easy but came stuck upon trying to fit the front ones.
The large nut at the top of the shocks i couldnt budge at all tried for about an hour but the depth its recessed in means i couldnt get any leverage at all. So decided today to take it to a local garage, have them loosten the nut the tighten it up by hand so that come tommorow when i come to do the front springs it will be easy to remove. Spoke to the bloke there but he said it wouldnt be able to be done like that as its not safe to loosten it off then tighten it by hand as its a special kind of bolt that is either on tight or not on at all. I dont know if he was talkin bollocks to me but its seems stupid i couldnt do i that way.
Anyone got any ideas or tips on how to budge this nut?

nah i no that mate lol.
Just when i go to loosten the large nut u need a fairly deep drop neck spanner but i havent got one nor can i find one suitable in the shops. Went to a garage and he wouldnt loosten it for me as he said it would be unsafe.
