Got my 2L finished, wanted the F20 box that goes with the engine, had to settle for a F16. Just wondered if there will be noticable diferences, should it not be slightly faster accelerating due to the closer ratio of the F16?

Cheers

As Nic said, its not the box really, just the ratios! I am not talking about the CR box here by the way!

Ratios are too long, doesnt suit the xe at all. Mine would do 125mph in 4th then wouldn't accelerate past that when you put it in 5th!

Would an F16 be more effective on a 1/4 for example? Due to you won't be using alot of the top end.

I found the f16 stronger than the f20 friend had an f16wr and a couple of Crs in his 3ltr v6astra and it took abuse all day long he had 3 f20s and they all lasted less than 500 miles
