The person could have used loose change and maybe forgot her purse?

I have been known to do it, borrowed mates/mum's car and just squeeze a couple of litres in there to what I used.
Normally though I fill cars right to the brim, I'm used to a baby 35 litre tank at the moment an filling mum's 60 litre one the other day felt like it took a fucking age

I normally fill my daily motor right to the brim from empty, just so I dont have to do it more than once every 10 days or so which normally sets me back £70
On my non daily motors they only get a little squeeze of the go-go juice normally a tenner at a time..
But I dont see the problem with someone filling with £3? You never know she might have forgotten her purse, that was all she had in her ash tray at the time and the light was on?

Since I've started a full time job I cannot remember the last time I couldn't afford £35's worth of go juice - well, £48 last year lol
But agree with the forgetting wallet thingy - I'm awful for forgetting things.
Filled up once and had to leave my mobile phone as a downpayment while I buggered off home to fetch my wallet

Whats the problem, you have no idea what she was doing with the car and what does it matter to you
My mum put £2 in her courtesy car just so the light wasn't on when she returned it. Bastards charged her enough for the service so why should she pay even more just to give the petrol away.

Depends on the car. 1 litre of water = 1 kg so if it's a 30 litre tank, then you've got half the weight of the average adult! Quite heavy
The specific gravity of petrol is 0.72, which means that it weighs 0.72kg per litre...

When you have coppers in the wallet and know that last £3 will get you another 30 miles, sometimes it has to be done..

i went to the petrol staion the other day, i got there on thin air and realised i'd left my wallet in the house so i had to use the change in my ash tray to put petrol in. £1.75 or something, i felt like a tool
i returned moments later and filled it right up tho so not too bad lol
