See I have a transducer from the GTE for the Digi dash, but when i put it into the box, it seems like there's something missing...?

well you should have a spindle on the box held in with a 10mm bolt that the transducer screws on to

I've got a white bit, and ontop i have the black bit which plugs in...

well there 2 tyres electric and mechanical, electric will have a multi plug in the top and the mechanical with have a part that the speedo cable screws onto

is the box electric or mechanical? if its mechanical its just a case of removing the white part off the tranducter and screwing it on

If i look inside the hole i can just see a Cog.. lol

if you look in and see a cog then its mechanical, if you look at the pic of the tranducer above, the tranducer is actually only the black bit, the white bit goes inside the box and is held in with a 10mm bolt then you screw ther tranduscer onto it

It just looks like there should be something inside the white bit.. lol..
I've put the white bit on, Bolted it in place, and the black bit was already attatched so i've left it there...
Thats pretty simple then, just seemed too easy - Wonder whether it works or not.. lol

I thought it used a standard nylon cog found in any mechanical gearbox?
Go scrappers and get one for pennies. If it doesn't work then there's nothing lost.
