Got it running almost the way I want it, good rom, mms working properly, apps I want etc.
Only one problem, a big one, battery is absolutely terrible, lucky if it lasts 12 hours.
Theres a thread on the vodafone forum about batteries with voda staff saying how it needs charged all the time and will get better the more you charge it, I know where bubblevaux got his dodgy information on batteries now.
Anybody else better/worse?

Battery could possibly get slightly better, I'll try it and accept I was wrong if it works but all my other phones use the same type of battery and don't need charged like that, it also goes against everything else I know about li-ion, and the only place that says it is a vodafone forum.
Even if it does get better, double the 12 hours still isn't very good.

One app had gps, I've turned that off though and there's no difference, it had dropped 3% about 10 mins after i'd taken it off charge.
I've got gmail syncing over gprs/3g whatever it has at the time, this shouldn't use much power though and if it did it's useless.
Spare parts doesn't show anything as usuing out of the ordinary battery.
I'm just getting a task manager app to double check nothing else is running in the background.

App I have that was accessing gps is called locale, it's been doing it since before I found out about that though and spare parts showed it as having something like 15 mins access over the time the battery lost charge, not really enough to cause it to drain in 12 hours.
