Went out with my friend andy again last night to do some self portraits. Again used his awesome Bowens light set up as well as 2 off camera SB-800s.

Always liked the work of Dave Hill so tried to post process them in that way. http://www.davehillphoto.com/

Quite happy with the results, we got lucky with an awesome sky and a field that for some reason had its own car park

And yes im well aware i will never make a model

Not a fan of the processing either tbh, looks like you've just been photoshopped onto an image, but that's what you were going for i guess.

like them alot
they kind of remind me of sin city, sort of cartoony without actually being cartoons if you get what I mean.

Thanks for the comments on my t-shirt

As for what i did with them, majority was just done in raw. Try sliding recovery to full and then slide fill light up. Set Clarity high then just use Blacks, exposure, viberance, highlights, light, dark and shadows to get it how you want.

Then work like crazy on it in photoshop.

They make sense after looking at the Dave Hill stuff. Can see the language you're going for Kinda funky how he gets his photos to look almost like an airbrush painting

Don't like the first pic, hurts my eyes. Second and third pictures are ace though, was you actually holding anything up in the third picture or was it all shopped? Looks good either way.

The jeans you're wearing look a nice colour in the last 2 pictures
