just got told by my boss today that me and another guy are going over to singapore to do work, dunno how long for,gonna try and milk the job to the max may then be going offshore with the kit in Korea!

so far this year , through work,been to:

south africa x 2
australia
north sea

Ive just been looking at jobs in Kazak

Was told there was plenty going in Turkmenistan last week in the Caspian Sea. Dont think its for me though, I dont fancy the 28/28, i'll stick to my 14/14, 14/28 me thinks

If you use Weirs/ Clyde Pumps downhole pumps I've built a couple. £800,000 for one!

But I got told I wasn't getting kept on last month when my apprenticeship ran out... know any jobs going?

Try and spin it out till the end of Sept! F1 was great there last year.

Fee's dad lives in Marina Bay, close to the track etc. Shame we arent going over for it in Sept. We'll be back over there at new year though.

Aberdeen - not everyoe is in oil in Aberdeen but a lot are.... It is something like the 2nd wealthiest city in the UK behind London.

Colin - 28 isnt bad.... Most i've done on 1 trip was 91 days. But i dont really work 12hrs a day like most rig folk. A lot of that 91 days was actually on land in Stavanger too Currently out on an Exxon job in the North Sea.

you dont like 28/28 ? i would easily do that Colin!!

i was suppose to be on a 2 month on , 1 month off rotation out of Oz this year,but only enough work for 1 guy , and i was bumped out of it cause the other guy had more experience.

alan- dont use weirs pumps, they do for injecting the well my mate is a cnc at weir in aberdeen

Adam- yeah i am hoping to spin it out for as long as pos!!!

2 months on 1 off!! Sack that!! I get cabin fever on the 2nd weekend offshore

I think the North Sea's a cushy number, No distance travel, Good holiday, no militants wanting your head on a pole etc etc Sure its cold but I prefer cold to hot if im grafting!!
