I have a 1997 corsa sport and I'm
sick of trying to get the trim back to black can anyone give me any ideas what will turn it black instantly or ultimately where I can buy colour coded wheel arch and possibly door trims? (silver) thanks Paul

Paint them yourself, the surface area is not very big and wont show many imperfections, but make sure you completely remove all of the texture and then clean the surface well with white spirit before priming

Hello fellow Oxfordian

As long as you undo all the nuts on the inside of the wheel arch then you should be able to get the plastic off with no damage. Although I did get one off a car at the scrappy but gently pulling it in a tactful manner and it didn't damage it too bad, it's still on so can't be too bad

To paint you will need to spray on plastic primer, then normal primer, then the colour and then lacquer. Only thing with that is it looks weird if you have painted arches and not painted bumper tops. Maybe spray the arches satin or matt black You won't need lacquer for them either.
