hi all i have a corsa sport 1.4 x14xe the problem i have is when i accelarate from a stand still the car miss fires and judders as if itsnot geting enough fuel but its fine in high revs also this happens if i am driving steady and the revs drop below 2k when im changing gear again when i accelarate it misfires ect also the car idles at 1k when its warm is this normal?

sound like the coil to me mate a friend of mine had simular problem then he got hold of a seconhand coil and it works fine now, so try that.

mine did this but it's x16xe.
Check the top connecters on the spark plugs are tight and not lose, if there tight then new spark plugs mate, try cleaning your air filter aswell if you have a performance one, just pour petrol through it and you should see it coming out black the otherside, then let it dry, or blow with a compressor if you have one.

could be the bottom pulley has slipped on the crank keyway aswell

if the bottom pully has sliped then shurly it wud run rough all the time as the timing would be out its just had new plugs and filter

if the bottom pully has slipped then you'r loking at bent valves mate, as these engines have got no room for error when it comes to timing.
if its just worn the wodruf key (more than likely) then your loking at checking to see if the hole/slot in the crank for it isnt worn beyond being servicable... or its new crank time...
just pull the bottom pully off and check it..
also have you even tryed doing a paperclip test?

sorry i meant the woodfuff keyway mate on the crank that the crank sensor reads off
