Last week my GF went to buy a car, as she has not passed yet i needed to drive it back for her, so i had to "technically" buy the car, then was going to "sell" it to her when v5 come through, we expected it to be here by now, but it hasnt turned up.
My temporary insurance runs out on it today, and she would rather have her old car(insured but up for sale) insurance swapped to her new car, but she can't do that as is not technically the owner of the vechicle.
Can i write some kind of formal letter saying i have sold the car to her, then swap details over afterwards?
Must be a way to do this

She can still insure it even of shes not the owner

I can be insured on my mothers car on a provisional, and she owns it.
