Anyone got any pictures or diagrams of where the Idle Air Control Valve is located, on the X14XE engine (1.4 sport)? Any help will be much appreciated

im pretty shure it is located on the side of your throttle body mate ill look see if i can find a pic

yeah its right next to it. it has like a bullet shaped object on it. normally made by bosch.

Would i be able to access this myself? Is it easy to get to, im a complete amateur wen it comes to mechanics. Because i think it needs cleaning out AGAIN. or maybe even replacing. Thanks for help guys

here,

look next to the throttle cable. you will see a bullet shaped object pressed against the flat surface. when you look at it from your own engine you can see that both seperate. its all exposed so you can access it as soon as your bonnets up.

but there apparently buried on the sport engines .. strip down to get it
