Been trying to do this for ages and it won't work 
when promted for a password I've entered the 20ish digit wep key. Which I get the responce 'unable to connect to livebox-3E08'
I've paired it to several other wireless networks using the wep key with no issues
anyone got a solution?

have you set the orange box into pairing mode? you need to press the number 1 button on the bottom the box. The lights will flash for ten minutes in this time you need to have connected and entered the wep key into the gadget you are trying to connect to it wirelessly

Those liveboxes are gash, they have a pairing button, needs pressing to make it work!
