My gearbox was knackered on my 1.6 sport so i got another fitted, everything seemed fine and now it seems like its not going into 1st, 3rd and 5th gear properly, it does go in but just feels like its not going in properly as it should but 2nd and reverse are fine. Anyone know what it could be...?

Sure its not the gear selector? Very cheap part and do tend to wear quickly.

I did have to adjust the gear linkage then drove it for approx 2 hours and 1st, 3rd and 5th started to feel funny. How do i tell if its the selector whats knackered?

or just adjust the gear linkage properly.. dont know if anyone has done a tutorial on this yet but will take some photo's and make one when it isnt raining as i need to do mine.
