Anyone with a specially purchased () copy have any issues with the recent updates that Microsoft released on Tues/Weds? More so the kb974431 which is the update to the OS rather than the security updates.
Just don't want to install them and find that win7 has locked me out or need reactivating etc

No i've got an RTM release that required the use of an activation tool. I've had a look around but can't seem to find anything about people have issues with the recent updates, so i'm assuming that it'll be ok but a reinstall is the last thing i really want to be doing right now.

MJFF88 - Yeah if you could, it'd be grand

Just installed and restarted and it worked fine, would be all over the internet if it was breaking stuff.

Was thinking they might break the activation on dodgy copies that's all. But it's all installing now, so touch wood it'll be ok

Btw john, have you install the compatibility update (lists under the optional updates menu)? If so, have you had a problems with that?
