Smooths out the power supply amps, can supply current a lot quicker than a battery.
Not normally needed, we also have an ICE section where this should be.

The battery charges it up and the amp takes its power from the capacitor instead of the battery, so a nice constant voltage with no drop, I think the voltage goes up to about 14v so the amp actually becomes a bit more powerful and it reduces "noise" from interferance, It's a must really.

It makes a hell of a difference on mine, probably because it costs 10x more than that one ^^^

Unless you have a massive system, you shouldn't need a capacitor, the battery and alternator should be more than sufficient.

you wont need it to run something small like that. you really only need for when your doing alot of audio like John said earlier. i ran a 1200w audiobahn flame amp and still dint need to run a capacitor with that
