ideally an engine stabilizer would be used but i usually just use a block of wood and trolley jack to support the engine and remove the 2 bolts that hold it to the car and bolt that goes through it and put it together in reverse order

Unless you have a ramp or something then it's quite hard to get to it and the bolts on it are right stiff. I got a local garage to do it, was only about £35. I provided the part though.
A rear mount isn't something you want to fall off, because if it does, then your engine will basically be hanging there supported by the gear linkage etc.

As said, if you can get it on axle stands its not to bad with a bit of muscle.
