Hey guys,
Iv got a Corsa C 02 plate. I had problems with the alternator about a year ago and the battery light came on as soon as i started my car. Had to alternator reconditioned and all has been fine... up to now!
The light doesnt come on straight away when i start the car, but as im driving it seems to come on and off, sometimes for 5 secs, sometimes for 30. And it seems to be getting more frequent!
Any ideas, could it be the alternator again? Or batt? im not sure lol

it sounds like the regulater inside the alternator, have your alternator checked mate, or do a drop test on it

drop test? iv checked the battery, 12V when off, and 14.1V when the engine is running :S any more ideas lol

just because its putting out 12v dont mean the battery is fine its the ampage which creates the real power.......
get yorself an ammeter or take to shop to be tested.
lets just say my old battery which was putting 12.1v on a multimeter was top even popping over the solenoid on my start motor, bought a new battery and the car fired up first time....
