I am having trouble with my corsa 1.0 Litre 12v, everytime i am on the motorway doing 70mph the engine management light will come on and there will be a smell of burning rubber coming out of the engine, i checked the oil and thats fine, what else could it be? Thanks.

Not sure on the smell but the most common fault on the 1.0L 12v is the AFM (Air Flow Meter)

I don't think you can flash the codes on these so you'd need to get it plugged in to have the fault code read.
