Has anyone fitted sat nav to their Corsa? I was in a Toyota Avensis the other day and it seems really useful for my poor sense of direction 
I'm guessing it might cost about £500 though

£1000 + depending what you want.... bit cheaper if you've already got screen.
May get a 2nd hand one cheaper

I've seen one that is standard DIN size and uses the screen on the unit to display...and it was around £500
It might be a crap one though

what about a Dell Axim PDA (Pocket PC 2002) = £200 + Tom Tom Naviagtor version two includin gps reciever £270, the advantage of this is that u can use the PDA in other places other than the car, plus you can add Points of Interest (downloadable from the net) so u can add Speed Cameras on etc, and will show you where these are!
Total = £470approx
