Time has come to invest in a new computer, one I have now is just shite basically.
An additional reason is that work is moving us to a working from home scheme, and I need a PC that will run AutoCAD with 3+ programs running at the same time.
Will also like it to play the current games comfortably. e.g. MW2.
I built mine about a year ago, but i'll admit it's shockingly put together with wires everywhere inside, so would rather not do a self build again.
Have found one on the Dell Outlet a XPS 630i, spec as below:
Memory
4GB mb (4x1GB)
Hard Disk Drive
640 GB HD Serial ATA (7200 Rpm)
Video
DUAL SLI 512MB nVidia GeForce 9800GT graphics
Sound Card
Sound Card Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme
CPU
Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q8200 (2.33GHz,1333MHz,4MB)
Price: £661 +VAT

I just bought my GF a gaming machine from OCUK - and it's superb, couldn't source the parts and put it together myself for much cheaper, and tbf - it's really well built and tidily done.

OCUK is very good value, they must get things real cheap because like said it difficult to build your own for much less.
Something like this maybe ?
4890 GPU (ATI FTW)
You can get a gaming case from HERE and get a discount on Windows 7.
Seems best to just buy one pre built
