Erm because he is extremely recognisable by the the branding and clothing he is wearing. Rossi is probably the most easily recognised bike racer ever due to his publicity and advertising not to mention he is hugely popular.

personaly i love his helmet with his face on it.. He said its the face he pulls every time he goes into the cork screw at laguna seca
