my brother has someone intrested in buying his laptop via ebay.. stating postage is £19.99..

The potential buyer may not drive, but it doesn't sound like a scam to me.

Mayeb not, but he could pay a mate or a relative to drive, I'd never deliver an item to some random off eBay.

I would if they paid via PAYPAL ..lol

but there is always concern when you get there, its oh i havent orderd off ebay.. etc

Tell him to deposit cash in your account and you'll post it as normal.

Avoid - If he can't even deposit the money into your account as Ian has said, either in person, telephone or Internet banking then I wouldn't bother IMO.
