Boyd will come back now I would imagine.

I think levein would be alright as manager, would be good to get smith back in the job though. I think hes out of contract at rangers in january anyways.

No one will want the job, it's a thankless task and your employer is the SFA.

The Scottish public seem to think we have a devine right to qualify for tournaments when it's blatantly obvious even Wales are a mile ahead.

See I'm pretty sure Smith/McLeish managed to very almost qualify for Euro 2008 in a group with Italy and France in it whereas Burley stuttered with almost the identical group of player sina much easier group so not sure this whole no othe rmanager will do better thing is true

Agreed with Ham Ham tho about the qualifying thing

Exactly.

Not sure why anyone thinks that Burley is a bad manager? Rumours were always rife around Ipswich that he was shagging all the players birds.

Nearly every Scotsman that ever managed has a reputation of being a booze bag

Maybe other nationalities should follow suit given the massive amounts of managerial success for a country of 5 million people

Craig levein tangerine will take it i think. Mind you walter can walk straight out of rangers in a month or so it would save the sfa some money.

Think I heard today that Smith has absolutely no desire to go back into the Scotland job?

Levein would be stupid to take it imo, plus he is a member of the Dundee United board. Smith won't go anywhere near it either, Rangers will be his last job.

He manages a premiership team, so safe to assume he won't be raiding rangers
