just purchased a 1.48v sri engine for a corsa b,after snapping the timing belt on my 1.2
i got loom ecu driveshafts thts about it
any other things i need to finish it
puzzled about the transponder aswell aparantley it wont work with out it
any help thanks

it shouldnt have a transponder if its from an old sri very easy conversion tbh just case of swaping engines and loom over only otehr thing is fuel lines yours wont have any unions on where as the sri's have 17mm and 19mm union

ive go the unions with the engine.the guy i bought it off didnt have a transponder or chip will the 1.2 fit onto the 1.4 ?

The 1.2 8v should be a safe engine i.e the valves don't bend if it snaps.

Just set the timing up and whack a new belt on for £10. Sorted.
