hey what sort of engine do you need to fit bike carbs to. could you fit them to a 1.2 8v lol and how easy is it to do it thanx ben

tbh mate if your thinking of doing something like that its wasted on a 1.2 8v its like getting your money and burning it. would be better of looking into a 1.6 upwards im doing it myself next year with a x20xe

Iv'e already done it on a 1.2 8v, used R1 carbs one of my manifolds, which is now for sale, and used the original dizzy, an ast2 cam, it rev'd and rev'd way past 8k, though 7500 is a safe limit, atleast you won't break any fingers, lol.

kawaszaki(spl) ZX 6 carbs are a better fit than r1 carbs, but any carb can be fitted with the right manifold!
