I interviewed for a service delivery manager 2 weeks ago and it was competency based interview and didnt really cover my work history or CV.
Just found out ive been listed for a 2nd interview and seeking some advice on how to prep/tackle this one.
historically in previous roles ive had a quick phone interview then a face to face or just simply the one interview.
This is a fairly senior position and just would appreciate any advice/pointers on how to best tackle a 2nd interview as I have no idea of the format or what it will comprise off?
Thanks.

When i get the chance I will put the question regarding format to the recruitment team but any generic advice/pointers from those that have had 2nd interviews in office based management roles appreciated.

Read up on common stuff like ITIL, SLAs etc.
Be prepared to give detailed real world examples where you have applied the above.
What's the business area? Learn up about that too if possible.

Ah ok, then I guess they will go through your work history, getting you to talk about each role in detail and they will ask you questions as you go through.
They may give you some example scenarios and ask how you would react.
Probably talk about management skills too.

Although I have been through interview processes where they cover the same stuff in more than one interview. They tend to go into more detail as it progresses though.

poss, didnt discuss your 1st point.
points 2 and 3 were covered though.
ill defo be preparing my arse off for it though and will revise ITIL again and think of some management examples etc.
shocked i got through, they admitted they had a lot of exceptional candidates and i was one of the less experienced ones.
