Never owned one, but the CC|UK lot go mental for them and rate them as the best one to have out the entire C range.

From what I remember, the 1.3's aren't awful either. Also, if you're bothered, I think the 1.3's are £35 tax p/a too.

The 1.3's are nippy too!! 100bhp iirc?? Or have i made that up?

Probly is a step down, but a sensible one if you are doing more miles!

1.3 diesel 100bhp??? when a petrol 1.6 16v B new is just over 100bhp? yeah the x16xe is old now but surely a 1.3 derv would be getting 90bhp max

1.3CDTi is 69bhp if my memory serves me rightly.

Cars after something like February 2005 (so last of the 54 plates) and onwards is £35 tax. Otherwise it's £120.

1.7CDTi is 98bhp.

You see, this is where there is confusion. There is definitely 2 versions of the 1.3CDTi available on Corsa D's.

It's widely thought that only the 69bhp is available in the C. However I have seen many later (06 and 56 plate) C's advertised as 90ps models.

In what way? If you count putting a tuning box on them and thats it.

As far as i have seen there isnt really much else you can do to them with out being a pioneer and developing your own stuff. Even the ecu is notoriously hard to crack at one point it was said you couldnt get them remapped. Most places still cant remap them them but there are a few that can now.

Remap, bigger turbo, front mount? By quite tunable, i didnt mean the amount of goodies you CAN do, meant that power gains possible, like all Deisels.
