Anybody else thinks it's bollocks.
If he couldn't drive for Ferrari last season why would he join Mercedes this season?
Your thoughts on the subject please

couldnt drive because of neck injury last year, healed up now.
maybe he was genuinly looking forward to racing again lasty year and got the bug again. plus he will be racing with ross brawn's team who he won his world titles with.

I'm guessing he wont be on the grid next season in a car.
Its going to be all hyped up like with ferrari and then he is going to bail out

TBH he was injured last year and had no prep time as it was a sudden thing.
I wouldnt mind betting he has had it in his mind to try for this season since then, and has worked on his neck and fitness since to get it to some sort of level where it wont prevent him from racing.
I dont really see whats bollocks about it tbh.

He got it after a serious German Superbike race accident last year.
Won't of healed within another 2-3 months
Schuey won't be back on the grid. Mercades are going in on a tight budget, and couldn't afford him (rumours of £3.5million).
He may work with RossB, but only depends if contract is up with Ferrari.

i thought (may be wrong....) that his neck injury was not a fresh one, and had been healing for some time - hence the attempted comeback for ferrari.
career started with mercedes in sportscars, and many years working with ross brawn makes a strong link to the team.
Ferrari already said they will release him from the contract should he wish

on the budget issue, the merchandising for the team with him on board would be huge. think of all the schumacher ferrari shirts, they will now need to be mercedes for the loyal schuey fans!

He'll sign for Mercedes I think, if he wasnt seriously considering it then he'd of come out ages ago now and turned it down.
