hi there i have a problem with my vauxhall corsa 1.4 sri 8v when ever i go to turn the engine over it just keeps turning over till about a minute when it starts. if you put your foot on the accelerator it starts but its very lumpy could this be the fuel filter, as i do run the fuel quite low some times.would appreciate your help

Try super unleaded and redex for a clean out and then changed it if you like.

doubt it i normally run mine till it splutters the sucking shit from the bottom of the tank thing is made up

just fitted the new filter and still the same and cleaned the plugs, puzzled

just change the plugs. Start with a proper service if its not been done recently.

when we cleaned the plugs they were very sutty and smelt rich of fuel so its over fueling some where.

Earth on the fuel pump? Try a different pump?
