had a day out with the kids on there quad today, it was quite wet the track we used and we all got drenched  but the kids didnt like it much as they got very cold  is there any protective clothing out there that can stop the water and cold getting to them apart from water proofs?

I wear Airwalk ski pants, water proof and soooooooo bloody warm you'll end up with the most sweaty bo-lacks you've ever had!

Ski trousers and also just a waterproof top, like a rain coat. Keeps u dry and that in turn keeps u warm.

thanks guys, just need something for the eyes, the mouth, oh and the rest of the face now  mud kicks up from the front wheels then you drive straight into it meaning you get bloody covered 
already lost a part for the bike cant have been tightened up, not sure yet if its the oil filler cap or a cap covering the cdi/staiter, might go back up the track later to see if i can find it

didnt you have a helmate for them to put on? u could get a full face or the motorcross 1 with the goggles

we havent got one yet but they will be getting one very soon, we wasnt sure what size they needed when we bought the quad and we only got the quad 3 days before xmas

they wasnt on it on there own  it was on a 300yard flat track at the side of a old disused rail line 300yards from my nans back garden, wasnt much chance of it tipping tbh

Children's skulls consist of several pieces that aren't fully bonded together. You'd be an idiot to let them on a bike, quad, skateboard or anything like that without something to protect their head. But I guess you already know that and you're just going to call me stupid because you know best.

You are correct and they shouldn't be wrapped up in cotton wool but allowing them to go out on a quad with no helmet is beyond stupidity, what age are they, 5 or something.

at least my kids wasnt the ones on push bikes riding down the middle of the road that was so icey that cars was going down side ways and couldnt stop,

measure their skulls circumference from the top half of their forehead. Most kids lids are one size fits all adjustable anyway and you will need to try them on them before you buy.
