My laptop won't turn on, it gets as far as the first dell load screen then after that it's just a blank screen and nothing happens. The volume up button is lit up for some reason like it's stuck on. Any ideas that might mean I can get it going myself or best off getting Dell on to it? Can't even get it to start in safe mode. Having to use my iPhone at the mo

Managed to get it to do some sort of test. Not sure how or whether this is gonna make it work

Its started working now. I dont know what I did apart from randomly press buttons then it started running tests on a screen that was blue. Then it started working.
Weird. I'm thinking of getting Windows 7. Vista seems slow and have little niggles with it like this that annoy me
