hi ,
i have a coresa with a 20xe conversion, and about a week ago found a hole in the rad.
for a quick fix until i get my ally rad i put one in from a astra mk3 along with the fan , also changed over the switch/stat witch screws into the side of the radiator.
anyway fixed it in and wired it up and no my temp gauge goes to 100 degrees the fan will only come on for about 10 seconds take the temp under 100 go of then come back on.
how do i get the temp DOWN and the fan to stay in longer
WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG??

I would just wire the fan to a switch mate.

take plug off fan temp switch on the radiator, bridge the 2 pins inside the plug thats connected to the loom, not on the rad itself. turn ignition on, fan should be on igniton live. tape it up so bridged wire cant fall out and see how temp gets on.
