Every single car I have ever put for MOT has failed for emissions, both corsa and 106/saxo, makes me sad

What's also interesting is there are no Italian cars in that list. . .

EDIT: I think the reason behind this is they're the most popular choice. This means they're owned by more people (I know the results are percentage) however it means more people are not likely to follow service guidelines and look after their car.

No, but if more corsa's turn up to an MOT due to their gearbox working, that means, statistically, there is a higher chance of the percentage of corsas being owned by morons, including old age pensioners, which are not very likely to look after their car. Besides, the results show that they are from 2004. The data doesn't mean shit.

Nice try, French. Now go win a war

That is not a table of reliability. Thats a table of the most popular cars owned by people that dont know anything about looking after a car.

It is pretty useless those statistics indeed, as it is just how well the owners look after them, if it was based on failures for rust issues that would be more interesting.

tbh it's based on MOT's and in my opinion, that has not a thing to do with reliability as you can fail an MOT for a dodgy tyre

well the last time i went to my local scrappies for corsa b parts there was a maximum of 5 believe it or no. on the adjacent side there was at least 15-20 106's. I thought maybe if i should get a 106 next because parts would be easy to come by, but then again they must be pretty shyte if theres more 106's than anything else in there.

There are 2004 registered Saxos, but very rare.
